Sambal Sting Ray

Sambal is a chilli based source popular in South East Asia. In Singapore, majority of us loves to eat spicy food.

Normally, we could purchased/eat stingray with sambal grilled in banana leaf in the hawker centres. At home, I dont have any banana leaf so I used aluminium foil and baked them. I coated the sting ray with sambal and baked them for about 20 minutes at 180 celsius. I prefer baked than grilled cause it is healthier.

First coat the stingray with sambal and baked them for about 20 minutes at 180 celsius.

Yummy.

Warning: Sambal is very very spicy, you could add more sugar to take some of the spiciness away.

Note: You can get the sambal or any chilli sauce(substitute for sambal) from the chinese grocery shop/supermarket.
